My Samsung SE-506CB external USB optical drive, which I bought in 2016, over a year after Windows 10 was released, doesn't work when connected to Windows 10! Samsung said it would work with Windows, but now I try that, it doesn't. This is ridiculously poor support from Samsung. 0 Likes Reply.

With both read and record functionality, this slim drive extends its usefulness even further. I have tried getting help from the tsstodd support site with no real effect. I would like to know this as well, my burner worked just writed with an OUTDATED windows vista laptop but then I bought a windows 10 laptop and all of a suddenly my burner isnt fully compatible anymore.

What is included Included with this purchase is the external drive, one potable to micro-usb cable, and trial versions for the following software: Unable to add item to List. Still works perfectly, and couldn’t be more pleased. Is there any news yet on this subject? What would have been a five star review when I first bought this is now a one star review because it’s unusable, but even worse, I went to Samsung to see if there was a new driver or anything and they don’t samsung portable bd writer model se-506 list it.
